Dualstar Announces July 18 Launch of New Boys Magazine,

    'Sprouse Bros. CODE'

LOS ANGELES, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a July 6 launch party at Planet Hollywood Times Square -- and just days after the official launch of the Dylan and Cole Sprouse Fan Club -- the new 'tween boys magazine Sprouse Bros. CODE will hit newsstands, as well as retailers such as Blockbuster, Barnes and Noble, and Wal-Mart, on July 18. The magazine, distributed by Curtis Circulation Company, draws from the marketing muscle of Dualstar Entertainment Group and Leisure Publishing, as well as the savvy expertise of the editorial team of Popstar! magazine, including founding editor-in-chief Matthew Rettenmund, who serves in the same capacity for CODE.
Touted as "the fearless guide to guy stuff, gadgets, sports & style," CODE targets young male readers, ages 8-14, with the inside word on what's cool according to popular, 13-year-old actors Dylan and Cole Sprouse. In contrast to most glossies in its genre, CODE is not intended as a fanzine, but rather a complete lifestyle guide for 'tween boys.
Among the stories in this first "Collector's Edition" issue...
"If you don't know how to draw, you don't belong in this building" - John Lasseter 2006
