  • Happy Shark Week!

I meant to post this yesterday, but I forgot.

    http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence...sharkweek.html

It is that time of year when evenings on the Discovery Channel become a watching frenzy. The shows on Sunday night weren't great. Last night they had a disjointed show about sharks in the mediterranean followed by Air Jaws.

We have seen some great shows over the years. My son is a huge shark fan, so this is his favorite time of year. A couple years ago, when he found out that it was Shark Week, he ran around the house saying "Happy Shark Week! Happy Shark Week!" Last night, he watched the shows with his stuffed black tip reef shark.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

Funny you say that... My daughter (15) has shown a strange interest in shark week.
Actually, I think she has a thing for Mike Rowe

My friends and I were in the theater waiting for Clerks 2 to start and a promo for Shark Week came on the screen and we stopped talking to each other instantly and watched it. lol. We are such dorks. I love watching Shark Week and I thought the Dirty Jobs edition of it they showed on Sunday was pretty cool. I really love the Mythbusters Shark Week episode though when they put the events that happened in the movie Jaws to the test. I'm hoping they will show it sometime this week so I can sit down and watch it this week.

                Re: Happy Shark Week!

I was disappointed with Shark Week this time. It seemed to be all old shows that I had seen before. Except for Dirty Jobs, but that's a new show, so there you go.

I saw the Dirty Job Edition for shark week I liked when they cut open the tiger shark and they were looking through his stomach.

                  Sick but cool.

We were pretty disappointed too. The show about the sharks in the mediterranean made us rethink our commitment to Shark Week.

I loved that they showed both Air Jaws and Air Jaws II this year. I am going to save those forever. I just love watching the sharks breach. My mom watched it with us. She had never seen it before, so she was in awe.
