      Re: Depp/Burton doing Sweeney Todd

It is scheduled to be in theaters late next year, so Depp could have a big year at the box office between Pirates 3 and this.

I've never seen the play or even heard about the story, so I'm not sure what to think about it yet.

Yipee!! I love Sweeney Todd! And I have enjoyed Tim Burton for the most part. Johnny has never disapointed me (don't always like the subject matter chosen, but his preformance is always spot on in my view). Sounds like a great idea!

I remember hearing a story like this back when I visited London,England.

From the tour guide. It sounded like a true story. About this barber would kill people and threw them in a basement and the barber's wife would cut pieces from the people and used the pieces to be make pies.

I was told that story like 5 years ago. *lol* This story sounds like the story that the Tour Guide told me.

The tour guide joked though. That they arrested the barber; but the wife ran away and flew to U.S.A and she sold her recipe to a famous burger restaurant.
