I'm not sure if there's a big DMB following on MiceChat, but I know there are a few of us out there. The new Dave Matthews Band album "Stand Up" is being released next Tuesday, May 10th, but VH1 is having a preview of the entire album on the VH1 site. Post your thoughts on the new album.

I really like the new album, Hunger for the great light, reminds me of BTCS. As a whole, the album is a different sound, but it's just them evolving, and it's better than Everyday easily. As for Preppygirl, she knows who the band isshe's a friend of mine. Jazzman, great avatar, sorry to hear about the wedding date, but at least you can always get the concert from the tapers, who will undoubtedly be there in large numbers.

I feel bad for Aimster. If they aren't fans of DMB, they are missing something soooo great in life!
And that ain't just my opinion... that's factI only hope we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse!

LOL... Something like that must have happened because Aimster couldn't possibly be referring to the fact that there's a DMB thread on here now could she? After all, this is a site dedicated to all that is good and wholesome in life!I only hope we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse!

Each of the guys are so talented, especially Carter. I love watching Dave do interviews or when he speaks during concerts. My love of the music is hard for most to understand, but has gotten me through so much and then in concert it's a whole other experience, speaking of which, I saw pics from the tour opener last night in St. Louis I believe it was, looks amazing, hope you all can see a show this summer.

I first liked the band when Under the Table came out, but wasn't obsessed, same with the Crash album, then my freshman year of college, my roommate played Live at Red Rocks for me, and I was hooked for life. so for me, hearing all of the live shows I have, I'm off and on into the whole tape trading thing, it just brings back happy memories of then and of course hearing the shows I've been to over and over again.

Isn't it crazy that most of us on this thread have stated how Dave and his music has gotten us through good and bad times in our lives. I think that's a tribute to just how amazing DMB is. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but ain't it sweet that we all have Dave to thank for changing/shaping our lives in some way or another?!
Personally, Crush, Jimi Thing and #41 are my songs. They each have special meaning to me and always will.I only hope we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse!
