The Rachel Ray Show ... seriously???

So I guess the Rachel Ray show started today. How do I know ... they had it on at the Gym. UGGGGGHHH. Luckily I had my Ipod on, but I think I'm going to choose a different treadmill if they continue to have this on.

I don't have a problem with her ... per-se. She's just too ... I dunno ... happy!!! Everytime I put on the Food Network she's always on, they should call it the Rachel Ray Network. And now as if 50 shows on there weren't enough, she has her own talk-show.

Is anybody really going to watch this??? If you are ... Why??? What is her appeal?

I used to like her but the more I watched her, the more annoyed by her I got. She seems SO incredibly fake to me now, moreso than she was say, 3 years ago. Like she's trying to make EVERYONE like her or something.

And that accent of her's is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. "Now I'm gonna make some grilled cheese sy-ammies". "Gy-arbage bowl, girls best friend!" AAAAAAAAAAA!

I liek some of her recipes, but she is to loud and obnoxious. She's nit really liek that...it for show..which makes it even more annoying. I've seen her talkign about her show for other food network shows and she sounded normal. When she was helping the "have your own cvooking show" contestants she tiold them to act REALLY exCIted..allt he time!!....

I haven't seen her talk show, but I don't really want to either.

I love rachael ray! i think i like that she has alot of energy and is funny... to me anyways. she seems down to earth and seems like shes easy to talk to... u know one of the gals! plus shes a food goddess! The next martha stewart, but better!

A whole hour of her is just too much. It won't last. Her books are good, her magazine is okay, but she is meant for small doses.

Rachel Ray is awsome! if u actually watched her shows you can make a meal in 30 minutes! and i have! and it was great! What about that $40 a day! did i mention that it actually works! YEA!!! U KNOW IT!!! i actually got by on a week vacation to New York with only $150 to spend on food! Shes great! I have yet to see her show...but im sure its good. Shes got that happy personality, yea. But at least shes not a...well lets just keep it at that.

I haven't yet hated her... but, then again, I don't watch TV much. No cable. But she's on every time I go to my parents house if they have Food Network on.

Personally, I'll take Paula Deen over her. But that's mainly because The Lady & Sons has got to be one of the greatest restraunts in the world. Mmmm... love that low country cooking.

I do enjoy her travel shows. However, I only really watch her as a background noise thing. In other words when I am lookign for something to have on in the background when I am working on stuff or when there is nothing else on.

She really messed up when she came to Portland, so I'm even less of a fan now.

She claimed that one of the places she went to was known for their espressos. Um. That restaurant doesn't even own an espresso machine. :lmao:

She also got some chef's names wrong, and then she canceled her trip to town, but did the show anyway, without ever being here or tasting anything, but acted like she had.

Plus, she should have asked local foodies about the restaurant scene here, cause she chose just so-so places to feature.

Portland is a foodie haven and she totally missed the boat on it.

I don't plan to watch anything of hers ever again. Her voice annoys the heck outta me.

Watched it today and I just could not get into it. I get easily annoyed by her EVOO and Yum-O coments and todays show just didn't impress me. My prediction is it will last for one season and be off the air.

We love Rachel Ray - but I have to agree. I don't see this lasting more than a season. She belongs on Food Network - period.

But....I guess if someone offered me a TV show on network television, I'd find it hard to turn down too.

That is the WORST "phrase" EVER. Why does she think that's catchy, or cute? GAH!!!!!

Though I will say her show on food network is like a train wreck. Good food, but man if you could just tape her mouth shut it would be even better.

I can take her in small doses. I do like her $40 a Day show. But too much of her and I want to take a dart gun and trank her!
