What The Ring did for videotapes Stay Alive tries to do for video games as a group of teenagers discover a horror survival game based on the violent real-life expoits of a 17th century "Blood Countess." When the players die in the game and then start dying in the same grisly fashion in real life, the survivors must find a way to stay alive and defeat the Countess.
