Hippos Enjoy New Home After Long Journey

    Animals Traveled 1,000 Miles

CAMDEN, N.J. -- Two female hippopotamuses make a 1,000-mile journey to become part of a new display at a New Jersey aquarium.

"Button" and "Genny" arrived at Camden's Adventure Aquarium Wednesday from Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida.

They made the trip in a climate-controlled transport to be a part of the aquarium's West African River Experience exhibit.

Button is 8 years old and weighs about 3,000 pounds. Genny is 4 years old and weighs about 100 pounds less.
Pictures are linked on the original site on the slide show.
