Ariel is Most-Recognized Redhead
In a recent study conducted by the research group Omnibus Operations: Ipsos North America, Disney's Little Mermaid was named the world's most well-known red head, beating other famous red heads including the former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson and actresses Julianne Moore and Debra Messing.
The study also found that red heads are most perceived as unique, feisty, smart and sexy, although few non-red heads would dye their hair because the color wouldn't go with their skin tone.
Disney released the 2-disc "Platinum Edition" DVD of The Little Mermaid on October 3rd.
