Last night I saw "Open Season" in 3-D. This
movie is SO MUCH better than the other 3D
movie I saw earlier this year, "Monster House".
Monster House really isn't a movie that you
need to see in 3D, nor were there many scenes
that you would need to see in 3D. BUT,
for Open Season, it was so much fun to see
it in 3D!
Open Season is even better than "Over the Hedge".
So many of the voices in Over the Hedge were
just plain irritating. But in Open Season, the voices
were matched much better.
I might almost like Open Season better than "Cars".
(I know, that almost blasphemy on a sight like this.)
But it's really easier to warm up to a bear, a dear,
and some silly rabbits, than characters fabricated
out of metal.
The developement of the characters was done well
in Open Season. I highly recommend it! It's not
a musical, so don't expect a chorus line of bears
doing the can can. But the movie is still fun. With
the glut of CGI movies out there, it's a little more
difficult to figure out which one's are worth seeing,
and Open Season IS one to see!
