Once again in the antique store in Pier 39, there is a framed photograph of walt disney and next to it is a check which he signed which is also framed with the photograph. The beauty I beive costs $18,000 I think. Just letting you rich people with money to burn know!

Matted with an oval portrait of Walt in his prime, framed in wood. $700-900

Man! I just sold my signature for a box of Cracker Jacks.. and I had to give one handfull back as change.St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Themed parks. Protect us from break downs, long lines, and used gum. Amen.

Ripoff!!! Walt's autograph usually goes for a few thousand. I realize the fact that it's Pier 39 probably doubles the price, but that is just ridiculous.
I've wanted to buy a Walt autograph for a while now too, but there's only one man I would buy it from: Phil Sears. This guy has created a niche for himself as the expert on Walt's autograph, so much so that the Disney company actually goes to him when they need one. His stock turns over pretty frequently, so I'm waiting for just the right one.
I just bought from him a drawing of Aurora signed by Marc Davis. He's at www.philsears.com He's got a Walt check for sale too, for a tenth of what Pier 39 wants.Disneyland Historic Preservation Society
