I saw this movie Friday night and loved it. The film is intense. I thought the acting was amazing, Shia LeBeouf and Chazz Palminteri do great jobs here, as does Robert Downing Jr.
It's not playing in a lot of theaters but if you are near one where it is I recommend seeing this film. Has anyone here seen it yet? It was written/directed by Dito Montiel and based on his memoir of the same title. Based in Queens in 1986 its a brilliant film that is powerful and moving, it might not be the most conventionally directed film but it truly adds to the story and emotion on screen.

Shia LeBeouf, Robert Downing Jr., Chazz Palminteri, the wonderful Dianne West, Channing Tatum (shirtless most of the film), and Rosario Dawson.
