  • How cool is my latest musical instrument !!!

WOW !! I'm now rockin and groovin in my upstairs bear nest to the sounds of my very own: Cherry Red Ukelele.

It's a late Christmas Present from Greg's girls, and I'm currently able to (very shakily) pick out "Tiptoe through the tulips" on it. I never knew channelling Tiny Tim could be so fun !

This is such a cool present !!!!!!!!!:monkey:

    Here's a picture !

    I forgot to mention - it's a "Soprano" Uke.

The main question that needs asking is can you sing falsetto like Tiny Tim? You should record yourself playing and singing along.. I've love to hear it!

I must say, that is one snazzy-looking ukelele. I've never seen one in cherry-red before.

          Beautiful and awe-inspiring!

May all your musical endevours come true!!
She walks in beauty, like the night
          Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes.....

That's pretty amazing. I am partial to a glockenspiel though.

Oh my gosh.....I'm giggling! We have three ukeleles in our house!!! Chloe's looks like a full-size guitar since she's so little. I'm trying to picture Rob with a tiny little uke and it's cracking me up!!!

Here are the random "instruments" we have lying around:

                3 ukuleles
                2 harmonicas
                3 maracas (from Hawaii)
                4 train whistles (STUPID GRANDPARENTS!)
                2 recorders
                1 hugeass Casio keyboard

Can't someone buy my kids a REAL instrument???
