No, you can't get them at The Disney Store because they are technically exclusive to the Parks and Resorts. (The do say Disneyland or Walt Disney World on them as well.) Happy shopping!

The Disney Stores used to sell some many years ago, but it may have only been in youth sizes. I was at the grand opening of a recently remodeled (Mickey concept) Disney Store last weekend and all the CMs were wearing Disney Store Mickey ears and guest could get a free pair with a purchase of $30 or more.

I remember the ears Disney Stores sold. The "patch" on the front was actually just a sticker. Cheap.

LOL Yup cause that is exactly what the Disney Stores have become CHEAP even the new ones from the grand reopening were stickers, with the ugly new red and white logo.

                    Re: Mickey Ears

What is the deal with the Disney Stores being remodeled? I was in mine on Saturday to buy all my Donald Christmas stuff and the lady in there told me that the store was scheduled to be remodeled. She was upset as this store has been around since I was at least in 7th grade, which has been 14 years and it's so much fun. They still have all the old statues decorating the walls and stuff. She assumed it would all be taken down and that they'd try to move the location in our mall. Are tehy trying to take all of them to the new Mickey concept? I've been to the one in Lexington Kentucky and was NOT impressed with it!

                      Re: Mickey Ears

Our store got remodeled 2 years ago - they are horrible now - they really look tacky - we aren't impressed at all.

as for the ears. the online store is based out of dl so while we can buy wdw ears we can't have them personalized. something about having to have a wdw receipt saying that we bought them before they could personalize them - doesn't really make any sense to me since i'm buying them from the same store who has the machine to personalize. but whatever.

guess we'll just have to wait until we head back to wdw to get a new set.
