The thing I like the most about Capt. Jack Sparow... Is you never know if he is drunk, stupid, or acting that way so that he can out wit people who believe he is drunk or stupid...

Luke Skywalker! Look at it this way: He lost his aunt and uncle (the people who raised him), his mentor (Obi Wan), got mauled by a giant snow creature, had his hand chopped off, found out his arch enemy was actually his dad, lost his second mentor (Yoda), lost numerous friends in battle, had his buddy frozen in carbonite, lost his father and probably the worst thing of all; found out the hottest chick in the galaxy was his freaking sister!

Then, despite all that, had the courage and wisdom to face the emperor and beat him at his own game...
"You failed, your highness. I'm a jedi, like my father."
