I read the book a couple of weeks ago. It is good but very slow to get going. Once it does however, the magic of Peter Pan is back and it should make for an interesting movie. Now however there is are two sequels, one by Disney "Return to Neverland" the unofficial sequel and "Peter Pan in Scarlett" the " official sequel. That plus the two Prequels which are both excellent and I am hoping for a third, gives Peter Pan fans a lot of reading to do, plus movies and more. Sweet!

This should be interesting since a live action film came out in 2003, Disney is re-releasing the 1953 animated film in March, The Tinkerbelle Movie comes out in 2007, plus that book series that is already out - lots of attention for Neverland!

The Tinkerbell Movie is apparently in trouble and may be pushed back to late in the year or even 2008 or 2009.

If more Disney "Cheap-quels" tried as hard as 'Return To Neverland' not to suck so bad. I wouldn't mind more Classic animated sequels.

I actually almost prefer Return to Neverland to Peter Pan... almost

But Enough with the sequels! Let's follow Uncle Walt's vision, NEW DIRECTIONS, NEW STORIES, NEW CHARACTERS, Let's INNOVATE!
