Blu Ray and HD DVD players are WAY too expensive. They should drop the price soon if they want more people to buy.

I gotta say though, I'll probably buy that HD DVD drive for my 360 (it's only 200 bells). But it is an epic bummer that Disney doesn't support HD DVD. HD DVD discs are the same price as DVDs where as BluRay discs are at least 10 bucks more.

Blu Ray is superior technology, but nether HD DVDs nor Blu Ray Discs are THAT much better then DVDs. They are not worth 35 bucks a pop.

Lower the prices of the Discs and the players and I'll be on board with Blu Ray. Until then, I'll happily support HD DVDs and do without Disney.

No, Blu Ray Discs, and HD DVD discs do not play on standard DVD players, and Blu Ray discs do not play on HD DVD players, and HD DVD discs do not play Blu Ray Discs, BUT both Blu Ray and HD DVD plyers DO play standard DVD's.

I agree that the price is to high for repurposed content. I'm happy witht he quality (and pricing) of current HD dvd's.
(and yes I do have an HDTV)

I just got an HD DVD player for christmas!

They would of got me a blueray player (I asked for one,) but the HS DVD player was cheaper.

I guess no Disney for me any time soon.
