  • Sega Plushes of Disney Characters!

I visited our local flea market a few weekends ago and found this:

I had never seen anything like this before and asked the lady where she got them (there were Mickey, Goofy and Minnie). I also found a black and white Donald and a color version (both called "Monochrome") and a small keychain plush with rope arms and legs. She said she got them from Japan. The tag says "Sega" and from what little information I've been able to find, they are used as prizes in the UFO claw machines in Japan, even though the tag says Elk Grove Illinois. I've found a few smaller plushes on ebay for outrageous prices. Does anyone have any information on these prizes?

Sega owns a couple of mini theme parks in Japan and make some toys there as well.

From what I have read these seem to be a new line in machine prizes. I didn't know if anyone knew if there were any of these machines in the United States, especially since the location on the tag is Illinois. The toys I've rescued from the machines have generally been labled as manufactured from a company called "Toy Factory".

Yeppers! Apperantly, from the tag, this is a "flavor of the month" series and he's "Orangesicle Donald". It says series 2 on the tag. The lady is going to call me if they get any more in...
