Watch the Scrubs Musical tonight on NBC at 9 p.m.! The music was put together and written by the guys who did Avenue Q.

It looks a fun-filled episode and I highly recommend checking out the clips.

The musical episode of Scrubs airs on January 18th on NBC at 9 PM ET.
If you've ever watched Scrubs, you know the music is pretty good, and that Zach Braff picks out much of it (Garden State and Scrubs are two of my favorite soundtracks). Much of the cast are musical theater geeks and it should show tonight!

http://www.nbc.com/Scrubs/ I'm not sure if the clips are out there anymore, but I saw a couple and they were funny. Also saw Zach Braff and Donald Faison on Kimmel last night and they did a song called Guy Love together that was pretty cute.

LIFE IS BUT A SONG AS THE CAST OF "SCRUBS" STAR IN A MUSICAL EPISODE WITH SONGS WRITTEN BY THE TONY AWARD-WINNING COMPOSERS OF "AVENUE Q," ROBERT LOPEZ AND JEFF MARX -- STEPHANIE D'ABRUZZO (AN ORIGINAL CAST MEMBER OF "AVENUE Q") GUEST STARS - Sacred Heart is turned into a full scale Broadway stage when Patti (Stephanie D'Abruzzo) checks in complaining of hearing incessant music. While trying to determine the cause of this strange complaint the residents of Sacred Heart star in their own musical. Carla (Judy Reyes) and Turk (Donald Faison) tango over her decision to be a stay at home mom or to return to work, while Elliot struggles with telling J.D. (Zach Braff) that she doesn't want to be roommates with him anymore -- both girls hope that the boy's "Guy Love" will help them through the rough patch. All the while the staff wonders if life would be happier if everyone was in constant harmony. John C. McGinley, Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn also star. TV-14

    Thank you!

We haven't watched this show for a couple of years. I will watch this episode though.

I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I love scrubs, but found this episode low on the funny side. The song about poo is fun though.

All in all, I love scrubs because it has a lot of heart too. They just need to bring back the funny.

Robert Lopez, besides Avenue Q, also did the songs for the Nemo Musical at Animal Kingdom.

Wish I know when shows are on TV. Would have totally watched this show.

It was really funny!! My daughter and I sat there and laughed the whole time. I hope they'll replay it on nbc.com? I'm going to check tomorrow.

Loved the fist part during Guy Love. :lmao: OMG. I was dying.

                  Good stuff and great storyline.

Excellent, we were laughing the whole time. I also loved how they set it up so there was a reason for the singing!!

I didn't get into Scrubs until it started playing on Comedy Central. I like it better in reruns than in prime time for some reason. I am watching the musical highlights now on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8vs3AAnmkg Who is the lady playing the patient that sings in almost every song? Also, "Guy Love" is on Zach Braff's myspace page. Zach and Donald have good chemistry on the show, not only in "Guy Love" :P

By the way, does the fact that they made a musical episode mean that Scrubs has jumped the shark?

                            Re: Scrubs Musical

The mystery women is the patient that has a emboylism in her temporal lobe causing her to interpt people talking as singing (ie the raison d'etre for people singing in a hospital.)

As for weither or not it has jumped the shark, there is no question that year 1-3 were the best, but the show in my mind is still very funny (it makes me laugh outloud at least once an episode which is quite rare for me.) Also the musical was perhaps the funniest episode they have done in the past 2 years and really fit the shows continunity quite well (yay embolism girl making it logical!) so I would say no, the Fonz has not left the dock!
