  • Toyfair 2007

Hi everyone. If you are a toy collector like me you probably know that this weekend is the US Toyfair. This is the yearly event where all the toy companies show off their neat new toys for the year.

However, even if you are not a toy collector you might be interested in some of the toys shown. For example at this link you can see NECA's figures from POTC3: World's End. http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/...ry.php?cat=639

They include pictures of Elizabeth Swann, a cool Jack Sparrow and Sao Feng (Chow Yung Fat's character).

If you collect NECA's Nightmare Before Christmas figures here are some pictures you might be interested in.

If you remember the Dragonkind statue line here is a link to some pictures of them. Dragonkind is line of statues based on Disney's Dragon characters, like Maleficent, Elliot, and Mushu.

There is lots of non-Disney stuff too. The new Star Wars Force Unleashed figures are great. I also liked the GI Joe Real American Hero 25th Anniversary figures. NECA is releasing some great Harry Potter action figures. They are tons better than the ones you saw at retail a few years ago. I found all these pics at http://www.figures.com/ . However, you can find coverage on just about any toy website.

Here is a direct link to the NECA Harry Potter figures. This is Big Bad Toy Store and they have the best prices around and their shipping is fast and the figures arrive in perfect shape. I use them all the time and have in fact pre-ordered this set of figures. There are thumbnails to click for a look at all five figures and then closeups of Harry and Voldemort.

I agree. I like that they keep the some of the elements of Elliot's look, but they make him less cartoony. I'm surprised we do not see MAd MAdam Min's statue yet.

At Toyfair they also showed the figures from Order of the Phoenix, including characters like Hermione and Hagrid. Here's a link to NECA's Harry Potter toys. BTW if you know a girl with a Hermione fixation, I'd get her the stuffed Crookshanks toy.

I collect me some toys too but I was disappointed with what was announced. I was expecting some more suprises than that.

So excited about the Yeti Cars toy though! "Who wants snowcones?"
