  • Disney Music Video's from the 1980's

When my brother and I were growing up my parents used to rent us these VHS tapes of "oldies" (music from the 1950's and 60's) with music videos to them that had Disney characters and cartoon bits. Does anyone know what these were called and if I can still purchase them? I remember watching them over and over but can't remember the name of them for the life of me!

I remember a little something called "DTV". I can still picture videos to "Stop in the name of love" and "Your kiss is on my list" playing in my head. I think they played on Disney Channel back then in the golden age, when they had beauties like Dumbo's Circus, Mousercise and Adventures In Wonderland.

If that's not what you're talking about, don't mind the reminiscing geek on this side of the forum.

There are others, but not from the era I remember...

That looks like one of them! Other videos I remember were for "16 tons" with Donald working in a mine and a Beach Boys song with Donald and Daisy. And a Hawainn/vacation song with all of the characters dressed up in hula skirts and stuff.

But they weren't on TV, we had a video. There were two VHS tapes we always rented. I'm not saying that they didn't run them on DTV, just I remember the video tapes and want to find copies of them!

Are there copies of DTV avaliable??

I remember the one for "The Heart of Rock & Roll" by Huey Lewis & the News.
