  • No trade for the Lakers.....

It's too bad we didn't get Jason Kidd. I always get nervous when the rumors start going around about Lakers trades but this one actually felt right. I think we do need a point guard and Kidd would have mixed well with our team.
    Unfortunately, it's a no go.

I too was hoping for that trade. Ohh well.
Is that a pic. of your house at Christmas time? I saw that life-sized Jack big-fig on Disneyshopping.com, but couldn't convince the wife it was worth the $300.00
    I'm sooo jealous
I only hope we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse!

It would have been nice but Kidd is going to be expensive and the trade options didn't balance out right.

Yup, it is indeed my house at Christmas time. I'm a huge NBC fan and I just had to buy Jack when he came out! It took my wife a while to allow him to come out of the box but I had to put him together for Christmas. He was supposed to be putting up the star but his arm just wouldn't bend right to get in the right position.
It's too bad you couldn't get him. $300 was an excellant price!!!!

Kidd had some rib problems that wasn't disclosed untill last night...thank God it was a no go. He's not worth the future.
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

It probably was better to save the money and maybe get a free agent or two sometime in the future.
" Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. " Oh no we might be in trouble

I didn't know he was hurt. I haven't heard much about the trade since late Tuesday and then it just stopped. That explains part of it then.....

I don't think we'll ever get Garnett. I think it would have happened by now. I wouldn't mind getting him either now that Kobe is more giving....well, a little more giving.

KG can opt out of his contract soon
