  • Favourite song of the 80s?

Oh I wish I was born in the 70s. Then I could have been a teenager in the 80s

I was watching Marie Antoinette last night, the new version by Sofie Coppola, it really is a fantastic film so if you get a chance to see it, I'd take it. It uses a lot of 80s New Wave music, which actually has a great effect when played over scenes of 18th century French aristocrats believe it or not.

I think Adam Ant's Prince Charming and Madonna's Burning Up are probably my favourite songs, they pretty much sum up the 80s for me and make me jealous that all we got in the 90s was the Backstreet Boys.

I thought that movie was good, too. I love Kirsten Dunst, she is so pretty and perfect for the role. I loved that they used Adam Ant music. That soldier really did look like Adam Ant!

I guess my favorite 80s song has to be Take On Me by A-Ha. That song was a hit when I started dating my husband. It still brings back fond memories.

As you can see, being a teenager, I am heavily influenced by Marie Antoinette and of course Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
