• Favorite Music Videos??

I've been really interested in all the "favorite" threads. So, I thought to ask - what is your favorite all-time music video? or, who makes the best videos?

I was thinking of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. His videos are always a little trippy and definitely original.

7 Nation Army - The White Stripes....is the trippiest music video I've ever seen. Good Lord.

Weapon of Choice - Fatboy Slim: Christopher Walken is the freakin' man!

(I actually just rewatched the whole thing now...hilarious!)

I concur. Oh and don't watch the terrible rip-off by StoneSour called, "Silly World". Crap. Plain and simple.

Another contender for trippiest video ever, and it scared the crap out of me when I was seven or eight. And in my book, that's what makes for a great video.

I can't really think of an all-time favorite video, but my current favorite is Candyman by Christina Aguilera, love the song, the video just looks so good capturing that era, and she looks quite awesome herself in it too.

OK Go makes the most amusing videos. I love A Million Ways (I saw them perform that routine before they made a video of it.... I remember laughing so hard I was in tears) and Here It Goes Again. And they're working on their next "masterpiece" as I type this.

Okay, so is Arcadia just a side project of Duran Duran?

My favorite will always be Thriller by MJ.

I also like most of Garth Brook's videos.

                          Re: Favorite Music Videos??

I used to really like this group in the late 80's called "Swing Out Sister". Anyway, they had a video called "Breakout" from 1987, and then a few others that came out in 1989 - Waiting Game was the name of the other song/video I loved - it was all shot in Paris.

I also like Amy Grant's "Good For Me" video from 1991 that she shot in Miami with the same fella' she had appear in her Baby Baby video.

Going back - WAY back to the dawn of videos - I used to love Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out" - it was from 1982.

                          Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" - 1987.

Oooh ooh I know this one!!

During the end of the Duran Duran phenomenom, the boys decided to branch out a bit. John Taylor and Andy Taylor went with Robert Palmer I think and created Power Station while Nick Rhodes, Simon leBon and Roger Taylor  created Arcadia.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
