  • Your NetFlix recommendations!

Use this thread to give other's ideas on what to rent! If you saw a great movie, post it here! Saw a horrible one that made you want to weep for all of mankind? Post it here!

I recently rented Casino Royale and it was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend it. It's extremely smart and the new bond was really great. All in all a great movie.

    Now your turn!

I recently discovered that one of my favorite movies is on DVD in the US now, so if NetFlix has Shinobi available -- get it! It's one romance that the guys will love -- Romeo & Juliet story with ninjas.

LOL Borat is like a car accident. You didn't want to look but curiousity got the better of you.

I actually liked a lot of movies that other people panned. PM if you want to know my username so you can see my vast eclectic choices of movies and DVDs to watch. I also joined this place called flixster. That is just your own reviews of all movies, in theatres and on DVD.

Well actually I kind of like renting the occassional bad movie from Netflix, its part of the fun of unlimited rentals, you can try stuff.

But for an excellent and somewhat timely viewing, try The Best Years of Our Lives.

An Everlasting Piece. A funny movie about wig salesman.

FYI -- I do not have NetFlix anymore.

I switched to NicheFlix but they recently folded. So, I'm trying out CinFlix.

So, if you need asian recommendations, I'll fill that void.

Stranger Than Fiction? Was fantastic. I just loved it

I also Netflixed the whole first season of How I Met Your Mother, and am now addicted.

On the advice of well, everyone, I bumped Borat up my queue. Now, having seen it, the filmmakers can bump it up their (do I have to say it?)

Terrible. One or two mildly amusing moments surrounded by over an hour of cinematic incontinence (yes, I did mean to say incontinence... read that as it's meant).

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Time to bump this bad boy.

I don't have Netflix, Blockbuster Online is better... That having been said, I just rented Green Street Hooligans. It was pretty interesting! I don't buy Elijah Wood as a bad*** but I enjoyed the film nonetheless.

                        Any recommendations?

Try the film A Face in The Crowd.

For those that like John Waters, Neflix has a movie called "This Filthy World" of him doing a one man show -- it is really funny!!! And it is exclusively on Netflix, you can't buy it.

ALSO I just watched the movie THEM! about the giant ants -- I fully expected it to be a cheese-fest-o-rama but it was actually kinda suspenseful!!! (Still, the ants themselves are cheesy but... wow what a fun movie)

                              Jesus Camp.

That documentary is amazing, and scary and crazy.

I also really liked 'Mad Hot Ballroom' a documentary about kids from NY who learned to ballroom dance, and then they follow them and see how they do. Very uplifting.

Walmart, The High Cost of Low Price- Amazing documentary about Walmart. very educational.
