I'd love to make it but the tickets for it are $450. Unfortunatly I can't afford that right now.

We live in Sonoma, about 2 blocks from the event, but who can afford $450 to go. It would be great, but with two of us way to expensive. He supports our very small town old fashion theater by letting them show his movies first run. The bigger, all 4 screens, don't get them. This is great because the old theater needs the love and support. He is deserving a little recognition from the area. Wish we could go, maybe next time.

It's $450 if you'd like to attend the Tribute, but there are a lot of other things to see and do there.

I just spoke with Marketing Director of the festival, and I found out that there is tons more going on than just the Lasseter tribute.

Pixar is one of the big sponsers of the festival, and they will have some of their developers there to show how Pixar makes its' magic. There will also be some other big name people from Disney and Pixar there who will be showing thier Disney inspired films. Not to mention that since this is in the heart of the California wine country, there will be wine everywhere.

Even if you can't afford the $450 tickets, it sounds like the $70 tickets would definatly be worth it.
