  • Alice In Wonderland costume

I'm trying to find out where to get a really good Alice costume for Halloween...one very similar to the ones they wear in the parks, but I can't seem to find a good one anywhere. I've tried all the major costume shops online and they all seem to be the skanky versions. lol

I searched all the stores in Magic Kingdom I could think of and even asked a CM in one of the stores and they said they don't sell Alice costumes there.

Anyone know a good place to get one?

I know its really early to be shopping for a Halloween costume, but I just don't want to wait till its too late and everything's gone!

I bought mine at Spirit close to Halloween about 5 years ago and it looks very much like the Disneyland version and is good quality and was also very costly, it was around $80. I'd suggest e-bay. You can buy anything on ebay.

What size (adult or child) are you looking for? They sell the child size ones at Disney and they look really nice. I have seem them in England (EPCOT) and Downtown Disney.

Try ebay... I've had a few costumes (belle day dress, which looks like Alice) made for my daughter. I'm sure the seamstress I've used before, would make adult sizes. Pm if you want more info .

I found mine online....but you have to be careful because most costumes fall into the WHOREoween category

                  Re: Alice In Wonderland costume

I'm sorry but as a seamstress the ones that actually look similar to Alice's dress(not the skanky Leg Avenue ones, ugh):

                  http://www.amazon.com/Adult-Alice-Co.../dp/B0009YSGTY

WHYWHYWHY must they be made out of satin? I absolutely HATE things made out of satin, that obviously aren't supposed to be...

Anyways, getting on topic... I suggest if you want the best result is to get a seamstress to do it for you. It's a pretty easy outfit to make, and you can choose the fabric that would be best for it too

edit: Actually this http://www.amazon.com/Truly-Deluxe-A...920244-4933558 one looks decent, if not a little off color

                    Thanks for your help guys!

I might go with one I saw on Amazon...I was looking for an adult one but I'm scared to get one in the adult size because usually even the smalls run big on me. I probably could fit an extra large child's costume, I think they're size 12/14.

If it doesn't fit I suppose I could always send it back.
