  • Sleeping Beauty

Hey so I know this is EXTREMELY random but...

I was recently reading up on the Louis and Clark expedition and how president Jefferson sent the two to discover new flora and fauna in the territory. Now hearing these two names together always brings sleeping beauty to mind, but tonight something else clicked. It was after all MERIWETHER Lewis that was sent on the expedition. Therefore could it be that Disney was paying homage to a historical event by choosing the names FLORA FAUNA AND MERIWETHER as the names for the three fairies in the film?!?!
