    Maryland Urges Teachers to use Disney Comic Books

    The state of Maryland uses Disney Comic Books as educational tools to teach students how to read. Some teachers think there great and do the job inspireing students to read. However, these comic based lesson plans do have their critics. There are educators who believe it has too many limitations and does not replace more work exposure that exists in substancial reading within tradtional curriculum plans.

    Good for them. Comic books are awesome. I see no problem with using comics like Disney comics to teach kids to read.

      Comic books are strong tool to encourage children to read and to learn new words. That's great, I would much rather have them reading Disney comics than any of the other ones out there.
