I have been excited for this film for a while now. When the reviews came out on Friday, I got even more excited. Its been getting amazing reviews (92% on Rotten Tomatoes). Some critics are calling it "the 'When Harry Met Sally' for our generation" and "the future of the romantic comedy'.

I just got home from seeing it, and it is wonderful! The best movie of its kind I have seen in a long time. The characters are very real, and it goes places I have never seen a movie like this go. Its surprisingly touching.

I highly reccommend it, I don't think you will be dissapointed. There is strong language and some raunchy humor, but it doesn't seem forced and there are plenty of genuine moments to balance it out.

Has anyone else seen it? What do you think?

Edit: This is a great review of the movie:

      Re: Knocked Up

I guess I'm the only person in the world who thought it was (mostly) unfunny and disappointing. Glad everyone else liked it, though.
That was wonderful! Bravo! I loved that! Ah, that was great! Well, it was pretty good. Well, it wasn't bad. Uh, there were parts of it that weren't very good though. It could have been a lot better. I didn't really like it. It was pretty terrible. It was bad. It was awful! It was terrible! Take 'em away! Boo! Boo!

I'm not sure I'm crazy about tha title of it, but I m looking forward to seeing it because of what I've heard, and I like the female lead - Katherine Heigl. She portrays one of my favorite characters on "Grey's Anatomy" - Dr. Izzie Stevens -

I'm glad to hear that people liked it. I too like that actress in Grey's but was worried how she would transcend onto the screen. Now I have a reason to see it.

I really enjoyed it! I think our theater was surprised at how graphic it was at times.

So far, it's my favorite movie of the summer and possibly the year. Yah, I love Pirates 3 and all that but this one I'll be watching a million times with friends on DVD. It's hilarious.
