  • Sad Day in Denver

So I was so excited to be going up to Denver today, as it's the only Disney Store in the State, or so I believe. I went up, and Lo and behold, it's been close! No more Disney Store in Denver! I guess the lease was up, and they didn't know if they were going to reopen or find another place or just close. Why does this always happen to me? When we lived in Mesa, the Disney Store there closed, too.

Now I wasn't able to get my free Ratatouille pin...

    Phooey...

    Oh that stinks
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Honestly it's lucky that there are any Disney stores around at all anymore.
If Disney had kept hold of them and not sold them to TPC (The Children's Place for those of you that don't know the acronym) they more than likely would have closed them all.
Luckily they're also opening more now too.
We have 6 going on 7+ in AZ. (Did you mean the Mesa, AZ store? The one at Fiesta? Cause it's still there)

Not to worry, they may just be paving the way to reopen a new style store somewhere else in the area.

Um, I thought the Denver store has been closed for years? When was the last time you were there? The one in Park Meadows? Closed. The one in Cherry Creek? Closed. The one in the Pavilions? Closed.

Which one were you going to?

I was there like a 2 months ago and Park Meadows was still open. I went last night and they closed it down.

And I thought the Fiesta one closed, but it might have been the one in Superstition, if there was one there... It's been so long that I've forgotten...
