Seems to me that as "communications" become more advanced, the less we as a society actually communicate. Sometimes anyway. --Barry
I couldn't agree more. Having succeeded in making the world a smaller place, technology has inadvertently succeeded in driving us further apart.
Interpersonal contact with those closest to us has been replaced by a need to remain in constant contact with those furthest away. And the anonymity of the vehicles we use for communication has given us the freedom to be detatched and released from any potentially emotional bonds and consequences.
Ironic and sad.
