Sun Valley Daze - Big Media bring in High Tech

    July 10, 2007

Yes, it's that time of year when the Mogals of Big Media gather in Sun Valley, Idaho... That includes Disney's Robert Iger... And the near legindary retreat is not all unlike some of those exclusive clubs most conspiracy theoriest keep talking about... (And you thought it was difficult to get into Club 33?)

This year Big Media is bringing High Tech firms to mingle at "the Ranch."

This year the big deal is how Big Media can gain internet presence... Joost, Digg, Linkedln, Facebook, and Sling Media are all looking for a piece of pie...

Yahoo is seeking to work a deal with Fox for MySpace... However MySpace seems like damaged goods since the great migration on to Facebook has occured... Will the deal go through, here, finally? We may know soon.

More on this story at Associated Press.
