WHO is your favorite villian? Why?

My favorite would have to be Hook and Shmee.

Hook is so classy and so delicously evil. Shmee is the perfect counteract of that with bumbling foolishness and humor.

Maleficent had such a great voice (go Eleanor Audley!) and was so evil! I love her! And Scar is so evil...they're both very elegant at the same time.

Hook, cause he flies off the handle at the drop of a hat.
Izma, cause the whole cast of "Emperor's..." was amazing
Strombolli, cause the Italian ad-libs durring his introduction of Pinnochio was really funny
Maleficent, I second that amazing voice note
Ratigan, cause Vincent Price was always amazing

I am so into the female villains! The males do not do anything for me, but I am in awe of the females so much!

Female: Maleficent, hands down when she's the only villainess with the adjective by Disney as "Pure Evil."

Male:That's a toss-up between Scar and Jafar. Jafar is the ultimate in power-hungry, but Scar....he is the king of subtleties.

My favourite villain is Maleficent she is just the most evil villain of them all. Her voice, the way she dresses, her horns now you can't get much more evil. Also ever tried getting Maleficents autograph in Disneyland Resort Paris, it is trully difficult since she is so evil.

I think in terms of humor, Prince John and Izma take the cake (with an honerable mention to Hades...he was evil, but also added humor). Random thought, but I think Shere Khan deserves a mention.

I liked Iago. So basically my favorite villain is Gilbert Gottfried, haha. I mean, is there really any difference besides the feathers and the beak?

Anyway, why does everyone seem to think it's spelled "villian"? I swear, eight out of ten times I see that word on a forum or similar it's spelled "villian" instead of "villain". Is there a reason?
