What Show Do U Want to See On Nick at Nite?

We all know that Nickelodeon's "Nick at Nite" shows reruns of all our favorite sitcoms and shows, especially during the summer where each night of the week consists of marathons of a particular show.

But lately, it appears that the only shows they have been playing consistently are the Cosby Show, Roseanne, Full House, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. And I have seen Growing Pains being shown as well, but not as frequently or in the marathon showings they have every week.


So I created this thread and poll to ask which favorite shows would you like to see shown on Nick at Night. And you might notice I listed some classics on there. If there are any you don't see but feel that are worth mentioning, please feel to throw it in there. If I didn't mention it, it doesn't necessarily mean I don't feel it was worth talking about. I probably just didn't think about it.


And, as you can see, I filled up all 10 options, the max for a poll. So I wasn't able to include "other". So if you have one that isn't available to vote on, please tell us about it. And the poll does allow multiple answers.

I'm surprised I didn't think of Bewitched. But I believe both that and Mary Tyler Moore have been on Nick at Nite in the past. MTM I am sure of 100%. The powers that be are trying to provide more recent shows for their viewers to watch. I didn't think of LIS or Gidget either. As far as some of the others, like Zorro, WD WWoC, Mickey Mouse Club, and JAH, I feel that Disney should come up with a Disney Channel Classics channel to show these, plus others they had on their network back in the old days.....like Ozzie & Harriet, Zorro, among others. And I can only assume that when you say the MMC, you mean the old series with Annette and the others, not the one with Britney, Justin, JC, and Christina. Though I wouldn't mind seeing those in reruns either. But seriously, Disney SHOULD come up with a Disney Channel Classics channel (similiar to CN's Boomerang).

Speaking of CN, their Boomerang should be the one to show reruns of BB/RR and Bullwinkle.

This show is too recent and wouldn't be on it for a long time. It can be seen in reruns in local syndication though on many channels.

Nice choices. Though I am sure all of them, with the exception of That Girl because I don't recognize it or remember it, were on NAN at one time or another. NAN is trying to show more recent programming to attract a new audience. Perhaps they should also include a NAN Classics channel, to continue to show the old favorites such as the ones you mentioned.

First, I'm surprised I didn't think of Get Smart, especially with the movie coming out next summer. Second, nostalgics is a good word for the classics. I'm surprised I didn't think that either.

Yeah the classics channel, for non cable or satellite customers. Basically found among the UHF channels I do believe.

The Patty Duke Show. It was on Nick at Nite around the time I was in high school and I got hooked. Small Wonder was a great suggestion. There's only so many episodes of Cosby, Fresh Prince, Full House and Roseanne.

Yeah, and they play them so frequently. Sometimes even the same episode twice in one evening. Doesn't help either for satellite customers who have both the east and west channels.



I would suggest Married With Children as well, Fox's longest running LIVE ACTION show or sitcom since it's been on the air. I say it that way because there's also the Simpsons, but their animated. But same as the Simpsons, since they're both long running, they're too recent and you can still catch the reruns on Fox and it's sister stations.

And it looks so far that Silver Spoons is the most popular thus far. I guess I am not the only one who loved that show, the house filled with toys, and the hilarious episodes. I really want to see that train, and have one of my own! :lol:

The Wonder Years was on Nick @ Nite a while back ago. I remember when my parents first got DirecTv, it was on but was taken off the air shortly after.

The Wonder Years is on at night, I just don't know what channel. I see it when I'm flipping through.
