  • New Ani Series Jets Off For Toon Disney

Breakthrough Animation has sold its Captain Flamingo to Toon Disney, which will air the 52 x 30 series in its Jetix programming block. Jetix has also licensed 44 minutes of separate Flamingo content, including webisodes, mobisodes and original songs.
"We are delighted with this significant, two-season commitment that Jetix has made," said executive producer and Breakthrough managing partner Kevin Gillis in a statement, nodding to the company's production partners at Heroic Film Company, Atomic Cartoons and PASI Animation.
The series is aimed at children aged six to 12, and was picked up earlier this year by Jetix Europe. It airs here on YTV.
