  • Disney Character Costumes

Pretty much every year I want to dress up as a Disney character, and every year I'm disappointed in Disney's offerings for costumes, so I end up dressing as something else.

What do you guys think? Do any of you know any special sites with good Disney costumes?

Good luck finding a costume you like! I was always too picky and wanted it to be EXACTLY like the character. So my mom made 'em. She made pretty accurate Belle and Snow White!

Maybe there is some kind of professional costuming place that can help you out-like, a shop that works with stage productions and people who dress as those characters for a living.

I've been looking for places like that...you'd think a theatre major would know where to look for these things

Don't want to pay $100 plus for a nice costume, though.

disneyshopping.com doesn't even have a Belle dress for adults. Kinda strange. I know what the design looks like for this year...I think it's rubbish.

Sometimes I feel like they put in far more effort to the children's costumes...the little princess dresses look way more cute than the adults.

            Good morning, son
            In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
            It was pain
            Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I usually have the same problem, so I just end up making them...
