ABC dreaming of a green Christmas

Following in the footsteps of seasonal stalwarts Andy Williams and Bob Hope, Shrek is getting into the Christmas spirit with his own holiday special. The green ogre isn't exactly filled with Yuletide joy but is trying, for the sake of Fiona and his family. And the rest of the gang is there to complicate everything, as usual. Shrek the Halls features the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas and airs Nov. 28 on ABC (8 p.m. ET/PT).

Why is this on ABC and not on NBC?... since it's now NBC-Universal, and Shrek is a Universal movie... I don't get it. haha

If Jeffrey Katzenburg wasn't working at Dreamworks, I would SWEAR that they just hired Eisener. I suppose "Shrek's Easter Bunny" will come out next followed by "It's The Great Ogre, Charlie Brown."

Shrek's not a Universal movie. It's a Dreamworks movie. Universal was just the distributor.
