Overall, it had a much stronger story than Chicken Little - the second act needed more work, even with the Pixar team coming in.
But it was what it was, and I still love the story.
Sad too, because there was so much material here, design wise especially, that could have been utterly fantastic in the parks.
Thanks for the review. I remember when the movie came out and people were complaining about it being an anti-adoption film or whatever. My family and I loved the movie - and we immediately bought the DVD. My 6 year old thinks the dinosaur and the food fight scenes are the greatest ever.
