Re: Two new Tim Burton Movies: Alice in Wonderland and Frankenweenie
Tim Burton was made to make this movie! Walt Disney himself was disappointed that his Alice wasn't as close to the book as he'd originally intended. Not that it wasn't amazing but I think Burton has the vision to do it right. I don't care what size Helena is she can be the Queen of Hearts any day!!

How awesome! When I saw the thread title the first thing to come to mind was, "Perfect! Alice in Wonderland just screams for Tim Burton!"
I'm super excited. This'll be great.

Great choice of Tim, he seems very suited for the world of Alice.

But I have to question something: Isn't American McGee's Alice coming out in 2008?

Re: Two new Tim Burton Movies: Alice in Wonderland and Frankenweenie
Say hello to Alice in 3-D. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Tim Burton will be remaking Alice in Wonderland as part of a two-movie deal with the Walt Disney Company. Alice will be filmed in 3-D, featuring CGI and live-action footage. Burton's second movie, Frankenweenie, is based off of a short film he made in 1984. Both of these films will be in Disney Digital 3D when they hit theaters.

Let's just hope he doesn't get Helena for the part. Maybe she could be the Queen.

Re: Two new Tim Burton Movies: Alice in Wonderland and Frankenweenie
Alice by Burton? What a perfect fit. That is exciting news. Any reports on who would play Alice? You know who would be good? Evan Rachel Wood from Across the Universe. Or do you think she might be too old? Let's just hope he doesn't get Helena for the part. Maybe she could be the Queen.
