KOST 103.5 FM is in full holiday mode

They are playing their Christmas Music now 24 hrs 7 days a week. It's great I leave it on almost all night long and up until I turn on the TV for the day. I love this time of year!

You know, I love that they do this. And in the past they have started on or around Nov. 25 and had a month of holiday music. But they started, yesterday. Nov. 16. Five and a half weeks before Christmas.

I just can't listen until AT LEAST after Thanksgiving.

That was MY FAV station when we lived in fullerton

I do have it online now though

here in vegas we have 106.5 (it is the same as KOST)... they play holiday music starting thanksgiving.. KOST started early this year

Same with me. Bad enough Victoria Gardens was playing Christmas music when I was there two weeks ago!!! When I have my iPod on Shuffle mode, it'll play Christmas music but I quickly change it to another song. When it's still 80 degrees outside, it just is not Christmas time. Now I am going to have to wake up to Christmas music cause I have KOST on my alarm clock.

I have Sirius radio and they have THREE stations having 24 hours of christmas music. I like holiday tunes but I may just fall into a syrupie holiday music diabetic coma.

I'm with you! I love that they do this, but seriously...can't we do one holiday at a time? I also wish that they would start after Thanksgiving; it would make it not so sick of the music by the time Christmas comes around...

Oh My Gosh.
Last night i was just so exhausted and I turned on the radio and heard a Christmas song thinking they rotated it in.... then this morning I realized they'd already flipped th switch. UGH.

I KNOW it's almost Thanksgiving but it's still WAY too early. Now I have to find a station that will come in on my clock radio. They lost this listener for a few more weeks!

I'm with you! I love that they do this, but seriously...can't we do one holiday at a time? I also wish that they would start after Thanksgiving; it would make it not so sick of the music by the time Christmas comes around...

I guess I'm the grinch here.

I liked it the old way when we did celebrate one holiday at a time, and didn't start so early. That's when radio stations started filtering in a few songs in maybe the first week of December, and added to the mix more and more until Christmas Eve, the only day it was non-stop.

I don't recall stations doing Christmas 24/7 in November until after 9/11, when we as a group were said to be looking for "comforting" things.

But these radio stations are owned by corporate conglomerates, and they wouldn't program the format unless it was making something more than jingle bells ring for them.

To each, their own.

Happy Kwanzaa. I think that's in January. Surely there's an internet station if nothing else doing all Kwanzaa 24/7. I'll report back.

we have a popular station here in DC that does the same thing. They started early this year as well. Honestly all it does is make me turn the station off for 2 months...

I have two channels of Holiday Music on my Comcast digital cable...and they started November 1st at 3 AM!

I discovered the KOST start yesterday. And I've been listening to it on Cable for a week or so. Can't listen all day, yet, but it is nice for a few songs.

It was weird because going up the 330 Friday it was Fergie "Glamorous" and then the next was a Christmas song...

The only two AC stations here started Christmas music on Thursday 24/7. Now, if I want regular, decent music, I just plug in my ipod in the car.

I will admit that I have been listening to the station the past 2 days as I've been cleaning. Hey, they're playing New Kids on the Block right now OK??? )
But my clock radio station has been changed.

BTW... last night they had a request hour and they were playing some non-christmas songs.

Agreed! My sister lives in Scottsdale, and she tunes in via the internet, I believe. We are all Christmas-junkies in my family.......the minute Halloween is overwith, we start focusing on Christmas.

KOST 103.5 is what we listen too from the Monday before Thanksgiving through Christmas.......Christmas Music rocks!

Yes, I love it too. I can now give myself permission, now that Thanksgiving is here, to have it on the car radio and the TV music channels (no good TV shows on anyway).

I love kost 103.5 christmas songs they are great. Sounds of the seasons started in nov 1st on 941. Kost plays the best variety of christmas songs
