  • Return to Neverland - is it worth getting?

So far I've stayed away from buying Disney animated sequels (with the exception of Rescuers Down Under and Fantasia 2000). Most of them are direct to DVD sequels and had bad reviews, however, Return to Neverland had a theatrical run. Is it worth getting when it comes out on Nov 27th?

I've never seen it yet so I don't know.

      no. It stunk so bad.
      the plot was lame
      the perosns were not believeable
and everything else stunk it up too.

It was okay. It's definately one of the better sequels, but not "Disney quality". It's still not as bad as Home on the Range.

Nothing could be as bad as Home on the Range! Nice for a quick nap though!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

I thought it was one of the better of the direct to DVD sequels. The animation is not up to feature movie standards, but is much better than the usual TV type of animation done nowadays. There are even some great CGI 3-D scenes at the beginning. I thought it was worth getting and have watched it more than once. But then I am prejudiced aren't I. If you like Peter Pan, you will like this.

return to neverland wasn't direct to dvd, i took my cousins to see it at the movies.

I thought it was cute, havn't made a habit of watching it though. They did a good job on recapturing Hook's voice.

Ah yes they did a good job with hook's voice and it almost sounds the same. but a little different.
