  • Eisner's last day with the Co.?

Has it been announced the date of Michael Eisner's last day with the company?

All I know is that it is sometime in September.

Anything more specific would be nice to know.

    Thanks
    .

Yes, I need to know. I need to send him a nice fruit basket.

With rotten apples, of course.

He is stepping down as CEO on the last day of the Fiscal year, September 30th, 2005. Bob Iger takes over as CEO on October 1st, 2005.

Mikey's contract expires in September, 2006, so he will serve one year as a member of the board of directors.

                And it's a Friday...

Maybe at 5 PM, which would be the end of the normal business day in Burbank, and would be the "official" end to Mikey's position as CEO... or as some would say CAH, as in Chief .... (You figure out the rest, the first word has 3 letters and the second 4 letters, as in A.. H...

Maybe at the Cove Bar, so we can honor that wonderful park he helped design, and that we can "toast" the end to his reign of terror... and then maybe ride the Tower of Terror

And I Hope the door DOES hit him on the *** on the way out.

Unfortunalty he will be heading out with lots of cash and prizes. I hope he enjoys them.

Do you think the CM would allow us one symbolic empty seat?

A meet in DCA would be very fitting .. given Darkbeer's explaination.

                              I say we start planning.

No matter what the turn-out may be.

                              September 30th, 2005 - FRIDAY ... Micechat's "DING-DONG EISNER IS GONE" meet!

And if DCA's hours are rolled back to 6-8pm with DL going to 9-10pm ... we can do something in the DtD or DLH area .. if park hours are an issue at that time.
                              .
