  • Captain Jack Sparrow goes to the Hospital

As many of you Depp fans out there know, Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose was treated for 9 days last year at London's Great Ormond St Hospital when her kidneys failed when she contacted E.coli.

To show his appreciation for saving his daughters life, Johnny Depp recently showed up recently at the hospital dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and spent 4 hours telling bedtime stories to the patients.

I must say while I am neutral as far as Depp fandom goes he has done a remarkable job maturing from teen stardom. So many other teenage celebrities have fared so badly. While he may have gone through a rough patch he seems to have matured with few visible scars.

Except for Wonka doesn't really like kids and is supposed to be quite creepy. Jack is just like that wacky drunk neighbor who always hangs around, kids love that.

Johnny is such a great guy! When my mom told me about this I was just about ready to cry. It's so refreshing to see a celebrity that is a soulful, sweet human being.

What a great treat for those kids.

                    Awww this is amazingly heartfelt.
                    What a sincere guy.
Another thing to add to the laundry list of reasons to love him.

Glad that his daughter made it through all right... what a wonderful thing to do for other kids who probably aren't having the greatest time either.
