There is also a second LA Times article from Friday, that really isn't worth its own link...

"Eisner's Post-Disney Life Hard to Picture"

By his own admission, Michael Eisner isn't ready to imagine life beyond the wonderful world of Disney.

He has said he'll soon retire as chief executive. But beyond that, "I'm not thinking about it," he said in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times. "I have pushed it out of my mind."

More about what Eisner thought about Pixar from the new book, "Disney War", from a NY Post article from Friday.

By the way, the first copies of the book are supposed to be available today in LA, New York and Minnesota.

We need to have many more of these excerpts available as many folks have not heard of this book, myself I am very interested in Eisners views or rather lack of long range intuitition.
I want to buy this book! Can Mice Age provide an Amazon link?

I wonder if he has been diagnosed with Alzheimers? He is so locked up in his fantasy world its unreal...and sad, especially for the Walt Disney Company, its image, its legacy.

      Thanks Darkbeer for this information!

you should hear some of Eisner's comments on what he thought of "Lost." Perhaps you heard of the show on ABC? Eisner didn't think you would.
