Is anyone listening to this via the Webcast? Eisner and Iger are presenting together. They sounds like Clinton and Gore. Iger is so drab, no emotion...the guy is a robot. Love him or hate him (well .. ), Eisner at the very least knows how to speak to a crowd.

I was impressed with George Mitchell's opening speech...

He stressed the importance of the board being Independent, and that the CEO Search must go outside the company to find the best replacement....

Nothing else interesting yet (The best part is always the Question and Answer period, plus of course, how many folks voted against Mikey...) though they are blocking out the audio from the videos being shown at the meeting. This is something that has not been done on previous webcasts. Last week, regarding the Investor's Conference, the transmitted the sound...

Darkbeer- I dont know, it sounded like Mitchell was only trying to appease those that are reluctant to believe they are actually looking outside the company for a new CEO. Big 'dog and pony show' if you ask me.

I am not sure, I have also been reading a lot of news articles, and it sounds like Mr. Mitchell, and a couple of other board members are trying to make sure they are truly independent. I hope it is more than just a dog and pont show...
