    Reynolds, will.i.am join 'Wolverine'

    Taylor Kitsch set as Gambit

    Reynolds

    February 19, 2008

Twentieth Century Fox has added three more superheroes to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," with Ryan Reynolds set to play Deadpool, "Friday Night Lights" regular Taylor Kitsch to star as Gambit and hip-hop artist will i.am joining the cast as Wraith.
Reynolds has been circling the role of Deadpool, an assassin with self-healing powers, for some time; Marvel is keen on spinning off the character into his own film series.

I love Deadpool and I think this is a decent fit. I might even go see this, which is amazing considering how bad X-Men 3 was.

IDK about reynolds and Deadpool....And are they going to introduce the Legacy Virus?

Clearly adding wrath means were getting a prequel from the 60's...interesting...Think we'll get a Shadowfox? and will Sabertooth be coming back?
          ooooooo the speculation.

Well, Ryan Reynolds is Canadian, and Deadpool is the product of the Canadian government's paramilitary Weapon X program (whatever that is, we don't have the budget for such programs )), then why not?

Just imagine; Deadpool working in Shenanigans Restaurant, maybe he can do the brain or the batwing.

                Re: 'Wolverine'

Reynolds has been circling the possibility of playing Deadpool for some time now, so if this does well perhaps we could see him in a spinoff feature of his own. (a spinoff of a spinoff?) Either way, I've been a fan of his for a while and his involvment only makes me want to see Wolverine more.

I also like the casting of Kitsch as Gambit. I know the guy who plays Sawyer on Lost had been the rumored dream casting for the role, but given the other choices that have been made in the X-Men films, I think going younger was the right choice. He'll fit in a little better I think. Besides, with the uncertain future of Friday Night Lights, this could be a breakout opportunity for this guy.

As long as they don't screw it up, I think this film has the potential to be better than any of the films in the trilogy from which it was spun off.

^ Better than 3, well, that won't be hard.

But I really enjoyed the original and X2.

                    Re: 'Wolverine'

Well better than 3 is practically gauranteed. I too enjoyed 1 and 2. I'm just saying this has the potential to be at least as good, if not better..... As long as they don't screw it up of course.

Looks like it's going to be the only big comic book/super hero film next year too, so they better give us something good.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman? That's like hotness overload! R.R. was in one of my favorite shows on the planet (2 Guys and a Girl) and I want to see him become a big movie star.

I am interested in what they're going to do with this. If they bring up Origins... dude that'd be awesome!

X3 so bad... But I wanted to like it. I really tried to like it. I can't watch X1 anymore.

20th Century Fox has cast former Lost star Dominic Monaghan as Barnell Bohusk, aka Blackwing, in X-Men: Wolverine, sources reveal exclusively to JustJared.com.

According to Wiki, Barnell’s body changes into that of a humanoid-bird form, with a beaked face, bulbous eyes, wing-like arms that give him the ability to fly (albeit clumsily), talons on his hands and feet, and double-jointed knees. In mutant form, Blackwing also possesses heightened agility, and he may possess heightened senses and a lighter skeletal structure like the avian X-Man formerly known as the Angel (Ben Foster played this character in X3).

If Gambit is in this movie, its already better than x3
There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.
