Awful news! He was the last of the 9 Old Men!

His legacy will live on, but I feel sorry for his friends and family.

I heard about this from JimHillMedia.com almost two hours ago, but didn't know where to post it. Thanks for finally starting the thread.

There are no words. This is a truly painful loss. While there is a great legacy that he has left behind in characters and stories, he was the last living connection to an era where it all began. That era is truly history now and that is worth crying over.

I am just happy he is with his wife and friends again.

An end of an era has truly passed, but on the other hand Walt has his whole team together again, and who knows what they are working on up there.

This is very sad, but your right squashandstretch, they are all together again, and atleast he had a full, fullfilling life, I think that he was even able to do some interviews for the 101 Dalmatians DVD.
