I found this article interesting after having a roommate from India who mentioned how her younger brother would watch the Disney Channel (in English.) I also know that the Mall of America attracts international tourists from all over, including India. At The Disney Store guests have purchased a number of Hannah Montana and High School Musical items (along with other more 'classic characters') for their Indian children. So this leaves me wondering -- how accurate his this article's portrayal in comparison to the one I have personally experienced?

Hannah Montanna is an icon world wide. Not many kids have a kid idol to look up to. Just hopefully she doesnt ruin her life cause all of the kids who follow her will do the same.
Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." -Walt Disney
