The Mummy was the first "scary" movie I saw in theaters, so I'm quite excited for this!

^ Yeah, kind of sucks. Guess she's too good for Mummy now that she's won an Oscar.

            But Maria Bello isn't bad.

I love the Mummy pictures and Brendon Frasier is a great, and funny, Action Hero. They have fun and good stories and great FX. I am looking so forward to this.

From what I've read, the official line from Weisz is that she didn't want to spend several months filming a movie overseas as she has a young child. The rumour is, that she actually bowed out due to the script being bad.

I recently watched the first two Mummy films. Fun action films, but utterly forgettable five minutes after you've watched them. This one looks to be more of the same.

I enjoyed the first 2 but am having trouble seeing past the re-cast of Evie on this one. That was part of the charm for me....the chemistry between BF and RW. I know I'll watch it, but not until it comes out on DVD.

Looks awesome. Too bad no Arnold Vosloo, but I guess raising the Egyptian Mummy was overdone.

I liked the two before this but im thinking they are dragging this. I hope its good. And it isn't the same without Rachel Weisz but hopefully it will work out

The fact that Michelle Yeoh's in this makes up for everything else in my book. I can't wait till opening night.

This movie looks pretty interesting. If any of you are interested, the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana (only 5 or so miles from Disneyland) has the Chinese terra cotta soldiers on display until October. It would be interesting to see these first -- or after -- and then seeing the movie.
