  • Can't post using Firefox

I love posting (can't ya tell?) and I love Mozilla Firefox.

But since last night I keep getting this error message when I try to post:

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.
It does this whether I use Quick Reply or hit the Post Reply button.

    Is it just me?

Hmmm. I'm posting using FireFox right now.

    Anyone else having FireFox issues?

I think I fixed a setting and it works now.

I post from Firefox and have had no issues either.

Looks like I had google-analytics blocked and it somehow prevented my posts from sticking.

Didn't happen until last night though. Strange...

It's all good now and I should be at 30K posts in a jiffy!

stitchon is having the same problem, and he checked on both Firefox and IE. I don't know if something in his settings is doing this to him, but he can't post.

Make sure that he clears his cookies and any cookie or script blocking settings. Then, log out, and back in.

He said he just cleared his cookies but it didn't work. He also doesn't know how to get to his script settings.

Make sure he clears ALL private data:

                  1. Head to Tools > "Clear Private Data..."
                  2. Check ALL the boxes.
                  3. Click "Clear Private Data Now"

This should purge out any old info, that would prevent them from posting. Note that switching editors (using the button) can also help solve the issue.
